Buhler Summary

Buhler, Kansas is a small city located in Reno County, Kansas. It is situated in the south-central part of the state, approximately 25 miles northwest of Wichita. The city has a population of approximately 2,000 people and is part of the Hutchinson, Kansas Metropolitan Statistical Area.

History

Buhler was founded in 1887 by German immigrants who had settled in the area. The city was named after the Buhler family, who were among the first settlers. The city was incorporated in 1891 and has remained a small, rural community ever since.
