Mulberry is located at 40°25'25" North, 86°45'45" West (40.423, -86.763). According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 1.2 square miles (3.1 km2), all of it land.

Mulberry is a small town with a limited economy. The town is home to several small businesses, including a grocery store, a hardware store, a restaurant, and a few other small shops. The town also has a few manufacturing plants, including a plastics plant and a metal fabrication plant. The town is also home to a few farms, which produce corn, soybeans, and other crops.

The average household size was 2.47 and the average family size was 2.99.
