Geneva is a small town located in Adams County, Indiana, United States. It is situated on the banks of the Wabash River, approximately 40 miles northeast of Fort Wayne. The population of Geneva was 1,845 at the 2010 census.

History

Geneva was founded in 1836 by a group of settlers from Geneva, New York. The town was named after the city in New York, and the settlers brought with them many of the same customs and traditions. The first post office was established in 1837, and the town was officially incorporated in 1839.
