Eva is a small town located in Morgan County, Alabama. It is situated in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains and is part of the Huntsville-Decatur Combined Statistical Area. As of the 2010 census, the population of Eva was 1,072.

Eva is located at 34°45'25" North, 86°45'45" West (34.756944, -86.762500). It is situated in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains and is part of the Huntsville-Decatur Combined Statistical Area. The town has a total area of 1.2 square miles, all of which is land.

History

Eva was founded in 1887 by the Eva Land Company. The town was named after the daughter of one of the company's founders, William H. Evans. The town was incorporated in 1889 and was the first incorporated town in Morgan County.
In the early 1900s, Eva was a thriving community with a variety of businesses, including a hotel, a bank, a sawmill, a gristmill, a cotton gin, and a general store. The town also had a post office, a school, and a church.

The economy of Eva is largely based on agriculture. The town is home to several farms, including cattle, poultry, and vegetable farms. The town also has a few small businesses, including a gas station, a convenience store, and a restaurant.
