Randolph is a village located in Dodge County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 1,845 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Beaver Dam Micropolitan Statistical Area.

History

The area that is now Randolph was first settled in 1845 by a group of German immigrants. The village was originally known as "New Berlin" and was later renamed "Randolph" in honor of the first postmaster, Randolph Smith. The village was incorporated in 1887.

The racial makeup of the village was 98.45% White, 0.11% African American, 0.05% Native American, 0.05% Asian, 0.05% Pacific Islander, 0.60% from other races, and 0.69% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.08% of the population.
There were 717 households, out of which 33.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 57.2% were married couples living together, 8.7% had a female householder with no husband present, and 30.2% were non-families. 25.7% of all households were made up of individuals, and 12.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.56 and the average family size was 3.09.
In the village, the population was spread out, with 26.2% under the age of 18, 7.2% from 18 to 24, 29.2% from 25 to 44, 22.2% from 45 to 64, and 15.2% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 38 years. For every 100 females, there were 97.2 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 94.2 males.
