History

North Prairie, Wisconsin is a small village located in Waukesha County, Wisconsin. It is situated on the banks of the Fox River, about 25 miles west of Milwaukee. The village was first settled in 1836 by a group of settlers from New York. The settlers were attracted to the area due to its fertile soil and abundant natural resources.
