La Valle is a village located in Sauk County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 545 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Wisconsin Dells Micropolitan Statistical Area.
History
La Valle was founded in 1856 by a group of French-Canadian settlers. The village was named after the La Vallee family, who were among the first settlers. The village was incorporated in 1891.

The economy of La Valle is largely based on tourism. The village is home to several resorts, restaurants, and other tourist attractions. The village is also home to several small businesses, including a grocery store, a hardware store, and a gas station.

As of the census of 2000, there were 545 people, 213 households, and 149 families residing in the village. The population density was 790.3 people per square mile (305.7/km2). There were 227 housing units at an average density of 327.3 per square mile (126.2/km2). The racial makeup of the village was 98.18% White, 0.18% African American, 0.37% Native American, 0.37% Asian, 0.37% from other races, and 0.73% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.73% of the population.
There were 213 households, out of which 33.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 57.9% were married couples living together, 8.0% had a female householder with no husband present, and 30.5% were non-families. 25.4% of all households were made up of individuals, and 11.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.56 and the average family size was 3.09.
In the village, the population was spread out, with 27.2% under the age of 18, 6.7% from 18 to 24, 28.2% from 25 to 44, 22.2% from 45 to 64, and 15.7% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 38 years. For every 100 females, there were 97.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 94.2 males.
