Forest Junction Summary

History

The small town of Forest Junction, Wisconsin is located in the northeastern part of the state, in the county of Calumet. It is situated on the banks of the Fox River, and is surrounded by the towns of Brillion, Hilbert, and Potter. The area was first settled in the late 1800s by German immigrants, who were attracted to the area by its abundance of natural resources. The town was officially incorporated in 1891, and was named after the nearby forest.
The early settlers of Forest Junction were primarily farmers, and the town quickly became known for its agricultural production. The town was also home to a number of small businesses, including a sawmill, a grist mill, and a blacksmith shop.
