Ferryville, Wisconsin is a small village located in Crawford County, Wisconsin, United States. The village is situated on the Mississippi River, near the Wisconsin-Minnesota border. The population of Ferryville was 545 at the 2010 census.

History

Ferryville was founded in 1837 by a group of settlers from New York. The village was named after the ferry that operated across the Mississippi River. The ferry was operated by a man named William Ferry, who was the first settler in the area. The village was incorporated in 1854.
In the late 19th century, Ferryville was a popular tourist destination. The village was known for its scenic views of the Mississippi River and its many attractions, such as the ferry, a hotel, a general store, and a post office.

The village has a total area of 0.6 square miles (1.6 km2), all of which is land. The village is located in the Kickapoo Valley, which is known for its rolling hills and scenic views.
