Dresser Summary

Dresser, Wisconsin is a small village located in Polk County, Wisconsin. It is situated on the St. Croix River, which forms the border between Wisconsin and Minnesota. The village has a population of 1,717 people, according to the 2010 census.

History

The area that is now Dresser was first settled in the late 1800s by Norwegian immigrants. The village was originally known as “Dresser’s Crossing”, named after the Dresser family who owned the land. The village was officially incorporated in 1891.
