Crescent Summary

Crescent is a small town located in Logan County, Oklahoma. It is situated about 20 miles north of Oklahoma City and is part of the Oklahoma City metropolitan area. The town was founded in 1891 and was named after the crescent shape of the nearby Arkansas River. The population of Crescent was 1,845 at the 2000 census.

Geography

Crescent is located at 35°51'25" North, 97°37'17" West (35.856944, -97.621389). According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 1.2 square miles (3.1 km2), all of it land.
