Dale Summary

Dale is a small town located in Spencer County, Indiana, United States. It is situated on the banks of the Patoka River, approximately 20 miles east of Evansville. The town was founded in 1837 and has a population of approximately 1,500 people.

Dale was founded in 1837 by a group of settlers from Kentucky and Tennessee. The town was named after the nearby Dale Creek, which was named after a local Native American chief.
