Ridgeley is a small town located in Mineral County, West Virginia. It is situated along the Potomac River, just south of Cumberland, Maryland. The town was founded in 1817 and was named after the Ridgeley family, who were early settlers in the area. The population of Ridgeley was 1,093 at the 2010 census.

Ridgeley is located at 39°38'17" North, 78°51'45" West (39.63786, -78.86250). According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.6 square miles (1.6 km2), all of it land.

Ridgeley is a small town with a limited economy. The town is home to a few small businesses, including a gas station, a convenience store, and a few restaurants. The town also has a few small manufacturing companies, such as a furniture maker and a metal fabricator. The town is also home to a few small farms.

As of the census of 2010, there were 1,093 people, 441 households, and 294 families residing in the town. The population density was 1,817.5 people per square mile (700.7/km2).
