Fleming Summary

Fleming is a small town located in northeastern Colorado, in Logan County. It is situated on the South Platte River, about 25 miles east of Sterling. The town was founded in 1887 and named after a local rancher, John Fleming. The population of Fleming was 545 in the 2010 census.

Fleming is located at 40°45'N, 103°2'W (40.75, -103.03). It is situated at an elevation of 4,092 feet (1,248 m). The town is located in the South Platte River Valley, which is part of the Great Plains region. The area is mostly flat, with some rolling hills. The climate is semi-arid, with hot summers and cold winters.
