Bernice Summary

Bernice is a small town located in the northern part of Louisiana, in Union Parish. It is situated on the banks of the Ouachita River, and is part of the Monroe Metropolitan Statistical Area. The town was founded in 1883 and was named after the daughter of the first postmaster, John B. McGehee.
