Bono Summary

Bono is a city located in Craighead County, Arkansas, United States. The population was 1,945 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Jonesboro, Arkansas Metropolitan Statistical Area.

History

Bono was founded in 1881 by the St. Louis, Iron Mountain and Southern Railway. The town was named after the railroad's president, William Bono. The town was incorporated in 1883.
