Brock Summary
Brock, Nebraska is a small town located in the southeastern corner of the state. It is situated in the heart of the Great Plains, and is surrounded by rolling hills and farmland. The town has a population of just over 500 people, and is part of the larger Sioux City metropolitan area.
History
Brock was founded in 1887 by a group of settlers from Iowa. The town was named after a local Native American chief, Chief Brock. The settlers were attracted to the area due to its fertile soil and abundant water supply. The town quickly grew, and by the early 1900s, it had become a thriving agricultural community.
