Harding County Summary

Harding County, South Dakota is located in the western part of the state and is bordered by Butte, Perkins, and Meade counties. The county seat is Buffalo, and the county was named after former President Warren G. Harding. The county has a total area of 1,845 square miles, of which 1,844 square miles is land and 1 square mile is water.
